Aim

Prepare by understanding

Prepare by understanding where you are, where you need to be, and the best way to get there every step of the way.

Sustainability is often misunderstood and seen as a cost driver with vague benefits. In this step we plan the journey towards change to ensure the end goal is clear. We transparently show the advantages of the sustainability journey compared to the consequences of not undertaking it. We honestly demonstrate the benefits, quantify what needs to happen in your organisation, and make it clear which solutions are and aren't part of your journey. This is where we begin to position your business to navigate the transition to a sustainable future.

Plan your journey to zero emissions

Develop a comprehensive approach to understanding your footprint, impact and managing your emission reduction journey.

  • We calculate your operational and supply chain carbon emissions, and set a baseline against which to measure future progress. This process is about improving the clarity and understanding of where emissions lie in your operations and supply chain. We provide you with the tools to improve and complete this efficiently on an ongoing basis.

  • Often your impact sits outside the scope of traditional carbon accounting, hiding the wider benefits your products and brand bring to society. We quantify your broader positive impact and how your products benefit others. This is a great way to demonstrate the wider contribution you bring to the world.

  • We assess your operations to model how you can best achieve net zero. This assessment provides bespoke scenarios, and shows which projects to prioritise in order to deliver the most impact and value. Are you aware of the scale and complexity of achieving net zero? Our scenarios clearly show the resources required. They provide the business case for action and consequences of inaction.

  • We define realistic targets for reaching net zero using the output from the roadmap. Are you concerned that setting targets will subscribe your organisation to unachievable outcomes and unfulfillable promises? Our work ensures that the cost and resource requirements of achieving targets are realistic. Situation dependent, we can help obtain external approval by relevant third parties such as SBTi.

  • Your organisation is getting everything ready to report on CSRD. But what happens after you’ve prepared? What actions can you do to get your organisation ahead?

Set the scene,
set the strategy

Set your organisation up for success by creating a winning sustainability strategy that is clear to understand and deliver.

  • We learn your culture and scrutinise the structure of the organisation to ensure everyone is engaged and aligned to your sustainability goals. Are you unsure of who is managing sustainability or worried that the work is too concentrated or complex? We assess your current set up and advise how to structure in order to manage risk and unlock the value of sustainability.

  • Few organisations fully understand the cost of emission reduction inaction in today’s rapidly changing environment. We identify and explore direct and indirect climate effects on your business. We work with you to identify the risks from both climate change and the transition of the economy towards zero. Based on this we help to build understandable and achievable plans to reduce and manage those risks.

  • We define a strategy to guide you through the steps needed for an effective transition to a low-carbon business. This includes targets, milestones, actionable steps, and governance structures. This work encompasses and summarises many of the possible solutions in the 'Aim' step. This is a key document to ensure systemic benchmarking and progress towards net zero.

Training & workshops

Ensure the whole team is familiar and engaged with sustainability topics and how they tie in with risk and opportunity

  • We help your organisation understand the wider risks and benefits of sustainability on business. This is done through a combination of training to build capability and and workshops to structure ideas, risks and opportunities.
